Packetra launched publicly in January 2026 following a successful beta testing phase with select privacy-focused customers.

Why We Exist

After more than a decade working in the web hosting industry, we got tired of seeing the same problems over and over: overselling, false promises, hidden fees, and providers who treat privacy as an afterthought.

So we built something different.

Packetra was created by hosting veterans who believe privacy shouldn't be a premium feature, it should be the foundation. We operate in jurisdictions chosen specifically for their strong data protection laws and commitment to digital rights.

We may be young (now) with very few clients from word of mouth but we're expanding, we'd like you to come with us.

Quality over quantity

We'd rather have 100 happy customers than 10,000 frustrated ones. We limit accounts per server to ensure everyone gets the resources they paid for.

Infrastructure that matters

We run modern hardware in professional datacenters. Backups are automated for Shared Hosting and available for Self-Managed services such as VPS/Dedicated servers. SSL certificates are free (Let's Encrypt) or You can purchase a paid one (RapidSSL etc).

Transparency

We publish our actual policies. We don't hide behind vague terms. If we can't do something, we'll tell you upfront instead of promising and disappointing later.
